Wild Rice with Basil

Wild Rice With Fresh Basil
1/2 Cup Wild Rice
1/2 Cup Long Grained White Rice
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1/2 Cup Riesling
1/2 Cup Water
2-3 Tblsp Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic, Peeled
Fresh Basil, finely chopped

Heat the olive oil in a heavy sauce pan over medium heat. Add the whole cloves of garlic and saute them in the oil for about 5 minutes. I waited until the cloves were golden brown before removing them from the oil. 

Add the rice and saute for a few minutes. Be careful, you do not want to burn any of the rice.
Add the broth, wine, water, and  fresh basil.

Cover and cook on medium heat until the liquid is absorbed.

I served the rice with scramble eggs and fruit.
