Baby Back Ribs


 Baby Back Ribs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 or 3 racks of baby back ribs, about 6-9 lbs.
Place each rack on a double sheet of aluminum foil.

Season with a spice rub. I used a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, cinnamon, and chili powder.
Seal the foil tightly around the ribs.

Place on a baking sheet and bake for 2 hours or until tender. You desire tender meat but you do not want it falling off of the bone.
Transfer the ribs to a platter and chill for about 3 hours.
Heat your grill to medium high. Baste the racks of ribs with barbecue sauce.
Grill the ribs for about 10 minutes. Continue basting and turning them during the grilling process.
Serve with additional sauce and enjoy!

 Barbecue Sauce
3 tblsp. olive oil
1/2 medium white onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic
15 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 Tblsp. Lemon juice
2 tblsp. molasses
2 tblsp. spicy brown mustard
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. paprika
10 drops Tabasco
Salt and Pepper to taste
Saute the onion and garlic. Then add all of the remaining ingredients. Bring it to a boil in a heavy sauce pan. Lower the flame and simmer for about 30 minutes.
